It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Stanford Paul Downey, a founding partner of Stanford Downey Architects Inc. and a distinguished Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. Stanford was a renowned architect who served on several architectural committees, including the Ontario Association of Architects. He will be remembered for many of his buildings designed during his years with various architectural firms, including the iconic 1 King Street West in downtown Toronto.
