Carol Rogers, B.Arts,  B.EDS.,  B.Arch., NSAA,  MRAIC, LEED G.A.

Carol Rogers is Atlantic Region Manager of Heritage Conservation and Landscape Architecture at Public Works and Government Services Canada. Carol joined PWGSC after several years in the private sector in Vancouver and Halifax and private practice. She has been recognized for excellence in architectural design through provincial and municipal awards. She is an alumnus of Dalhousie University, (previously the Technical University of Nova Scotia) and the University of King’s College in Halifax.
                        
Carol has served on council and committees of the Nova Scotia Association of Architects as well as contributing to activities of the RAIC, including Women in Architecture, RAIC Festival committees, and the RAIC noon-hour lecture series. Currently, she is on the executive of the Association for Preservation Technology International, Atlantic Chapter, and is a member of the Canada Green Building Council.

Carol has made a significant contribution as a board member of organizations such as Partners for Care of the QE2 Hospital Foundation, Halifax YWCA, and local recreational clubs. Within PWGSC, she has been Employee Campaign Coordinator for Nova Scotia and Inter-Departmental Representative for the Workplace Charitable Campaign (United Way).

She received the Public Works Canada Deputy Minister’s Award for significant contribution to the department, as well as other commendations for exemplary performance. Carol also enjoys a liaison role representing PWGSC in its association with the Dalhousie University Faculty of Architecture, acting as a guest critic and hosting student projects in the development of conservation programming.
