Our Surrey office currently has an exciting opportunity for a Leadership role in the firm. The Technology Director is the “GO TO” for all technical aspects of our work, including Building Technology, Specifications, Building Envelope and Building Code. The ideal candidate is a great technical thinker, with expert knowledge of local and national building codes, and has the desire to implement systems, protocols and standards to keep up with trends and help us work more efficiently. Your responsibilities will include areas requiring thorough technical and commercial knowledge of the design and construction process(es), with the ability to credibly provide direction and instruction in planning, specifications, materials and construction techniques. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, enjoy working in a collaborate team environment, and mentoring junior staff.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in architecture, architectural technology or another construction‐related field plus 10 years local experience. Project Management experience in an Architectural capacity is essential. Computer skills that are essential include MS Office, AutoCAD, and familiarity with Revit is also preferred. LEED Certification is not required, but would be considered an asset.
