About the Opportunity
Fotenn has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced an Intermediate/Senior Landscape Architect to join and our studio team based in Ottawa or Toronto on a full-time basis.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on award-winning projects alongside highly-respected individuals who are experts in their fields. Overseeing small and medium-sized landscape and design projects, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure that all project deliverables are of the highest quality and provided in a timely and efficient manner.
The Successful Candidate
This is a great opportunity for a motivated and accomplished design professional with strong project management experience and working knowledge of architectural design, municipal processes, and approvals, including rezoning and design guidelines. Practical knowledge of general architecture practice, including programming and site planning, is also required.
The successful candidate for this role will have a Bachelor's degree or a Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture in combination with 3-4 years of progressive experience for an Intermediate position, or 6-8 years of experience for a Senior position. You must also be a member of the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA) or the Association des Architectes Paysagiste du Quebec (AAPQ) with ability to obtain stamp.
In addition, you will also demonstrate knowledge and/or experience in the following areas:
-Experience in land development and municipal approval process
-Excellence in design and knowledge of technical detailed design and construction methods and practices
-Highly developed graphic, verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences, including clients, communities, and peers
-A desire and ability to work independently and as part of a larger design team
-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, write clearly, and resolve problems creatively
-Demonstrable competency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite, hand drawing, and 3D modeling (Sketch Up, Rhino)
ISA Certification (asset only)
-Proficiency in French (asset only)
-Competency in ArcGIS (asset only)
