January 19 is the deadline to submit for the Emerging Architectural Practice Award, the Architectural Firm Award, the Prix du XXe Siècle, and the Young Architect Award. 

The RAIC is also calling for nominations for the 2018 recipient of its highest honour, the Gold Medal.

Past winners include John and Patricia Patkau, Arthur Erickson, Dan Hanganu, Bing Thom, Phyllis Lambert, George Baird and others. Please consider nominating someone in Canada who deserves recognition for their outstanding achievement in architecture.

Eight architects from across Canada have been selected by the CHOP steering committee to serve on the editorial board of the CHOP 3rd Edition. A call for volunteers in November resulted in over 35 applications, representing “an embarrassment of riches in terms of capabilities and experience,” according to Donald Ardiel, MRAIC, CHOP 3rd Edition Editor‐in‐Chief.

The CHOP 3rd Edition, planned for completion and release in spring  2019, will be available across multiple platforms at no cost to all interns and architects in Canada.
