SDCB 201 -
Green Building Tools and Techniques: Marketing, Building Economics andEnvironmental Assessment

Course Description

This day-long course is intended for Architects, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and Cost Estimators, Building Professionals, Facility Managers and Owners who are interested in developing economic documentation to support design solutions for sustainable buildings in Canada.

The course will introduce the need for marketing to owners and clients about the importance of designing greener buildings. The course will identify some of the tools needed to realize such buildings. These tools include full life cycle assessment of buildings such as life cycle costing and environmental performance, as well as case studies and economic analyses.
