Course Description |
This full day course is intended for Architects, Engineers and Building Professionals who are interested in understanding the basic principals of heritage conservation and how to apply them in the context of projects involving heritage buildings and sites. The course is based on the presentation of the Standards and Guidelines for the Conservation of Historic Places in Canada, the first pan-Canadian reference document guiding the decision-making process for heritage conservation. Case studies will offer opportunities to see how they are applied as part of the design and review process. Participants will:
