To address labour shortages in Europe, the European Commission has adopted a proposal for modernizing the Professional Qualifications Directive, which aims at simplifying rules for the mobility of professionals within the EU by offering a European Professional Card to all interested professions, allowing for easier and faster recognition of qualifications.

Registration is now open, with early bird pricing, for the CaGBC’s first-ever offering of the Sustainable Building Advisor Program. The nine-month program has only two classroom days a month which makes it a perfect fit for both seasoned green building professionals and those looking to work in an exciting and growing field. The class starts March 23, 2012 at Toronto’s Evergreen Brick Works.
