The Architecture Canada | RAIC Board has thrown its support behind a Health + Care Professional Interest Area (PIA) to encourage the collaboration of practitioners, academics, clients and regulatory authorities. This forum will allow for the open exchange of ideas and knowledge; where issues of health and the environment of care as it relates to Canadian culture and society can be freely discussed and debated.
The goal is to:
- Raise the overall awareness of issues associated with this area of practice
- Highlight the importance of health and the environment of care; in all projects
- Develop improved quality of planning and design for health and the environment of care
- Encourage communication and sharing of ideas across a range of disciplines from within and outside the profession
