Phyllis Lambert, FRAIC represents a true advocate for the Profession of Architecture in every sense; as a champion of design excellence, an activist for preservation of exemplary architecture, a collector of architectural culture; and a tireless defender of historical buildings. Her enduring commitment is internationally recognized. As founder of Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) she ensures both a contemporary and timeless contribution to the profession and to the public.

Phyllis Lambert also received the RAIC Gold Medal in 1991.
